Vista supports the usual PPTP and L2TP/IPsec virtual private networks (VPNs) that previous versions of Windows included. Although some clients may need to be updated to work with Vista, and although we can expect that customers will have the normal difficulties learning the new configuration steps, Vista will remain compatible with these and other VPNs.
