The new wireless standard also offers increased reliability and network speeds with data rates potentially as high as 540 Mbps. This high data rate, in turn, allows customers to run high-availability applications over a WLAN. However, the new technology requires changes in both wireless and wired network architectures – a perfect opportunity for trusted advisers.
