ProCurve is making big moves this year, pulling out a big data center play for partners and taking on Cisco Systems even more directly. What's more, now that parent company Hewlett-Packard is urging its channel partners to work with the ProCurve networking portfolio instead of simply sanctioning the use of Cisco, competition between the channels will be even fiercer.

In this edition of Channel Chat, Kevin Kabat, HP ProCurve Americas Director of Channel Sales, discusses getting partners ready for the data center, as well as the economy and how the nation's new stimulus bill will affect the channel.
