Nokia has announced a new channel program designed to boost sales of its "business mobility solutions."

The solutions start with phones, but include call-administration and cost-control functions such as least-cost-routing and desk-phone-like functions on a mobile, as well as mobile virtual private networks, firewalls, and phone-fleet-management capabilities.

The Nokia Business Channel Program will include all the Nokia business products, and offer two levels, Authorized and Expert. Each level has three specialty tracks as well -- mobility, security and voice, any or all of which a partner can adopt.

Discounts and incentives will vary not only according to level, but according to technology area, with the highest incentives going toward the least-developed markets.

Incentives will also rise for VARs who spend on training or customized applications.

Nokia's own Enterprise Solutions sales force will concentrate on demand generation, but fulfillment of that business will go entirely through the channel, according to a statement from Nokia.

Detailed information is available here.
